Are COLD coffee drinks common in Italy? If so, what are they called?!

Question: I know Italians love their coffee, but I'd like to know if it's easy to find cold coffee drinks (like iced coffee, or a coolata equivalent). What are they called there, if they even exist at all?

In Italy there are a LOT of cold drink based on coffee, both Italian/regional and international.
A simple cold coffe is also easy to find, but more in southern Italy (by the way, a cold coffee is "caffè freddo"; "caldo" in Italian means "hot").

well if theres a starbucks in italy it would be the same name as here in the us. their called frappachinos. :D

Cafe caldo=coffee cold
cafe granita=coffee slush
and so on..
moka espresso is the coffee made with a funny looking twist percolator and can be drank cold often many people I know still do it. It is something my parents did and so do I. It's usually left on the stove in case someone wants a quick cold shot of(refrg or counter) coffee. I drink cold coffee in the morning.
