It's funny that a lot of people are saying "I like sprinkles on my cupcakes" but i know what you're talking about.
I just got a dozen today for a birthday and i think they are sooo worth it. It is kind of one of those things that you just have to really be into. Yeah you can go to the grocery store and get a cupcake, but the gourmet flavors and rich tastes make them worth it to me. I LOVE SPRINKLES

of coarse sprinkles on cupcakes are good. i have to have my sprinkles. $4 might be alot but if its a fundraiser im sure people will spend that much.
I like cupcakes with sprinkles on them. I like vanilla. Although, charging $4 for a cupcake is a lot, even if they are good.
I can get some jiffy cake mix, icing and sprinkles and make 2 dozen for less than $4. They aren't half as good as fresh from the oven light and fluffy jiffy cupcakes!
Perhaps it would be better to allow the buyer choose the type of sprinkles they want on their cupcakes. You may want to consider lowering the price to a $1.00 cupcake or at least $1.50 for two cupcakes or both. The customer would appreciate how they want their cupcakes to be like. God bless.
The bakery in Los Angeles? I've had them and I can't say that I understand what the fuss is about. I can make cupcakes or cake at home that I think tastes much better. I would never pay that much for a cupcake but I do understand that cupcakes are much more labor intensive than regular cake, which most people who have little or no baking experience whatsoever don't realize.
