Well...
Put some tortilla chips in a bag and put a small tuperware with salsa in it. Hold the sour cream this time, because the salsa won't be warm!
For a main dish, get Kraft cheese and crackers small tuperware dishes from Walmart. It's Ritz Crackers and some cheese cubes that taste really good! And really healthy too,
Also while your at Walmart, try in the tuna section, little lunch tuberwares that have tuna, relish, and crackers and mayo for some tuna crackers that are really yummy.
Another thing I like with my lunch is a small bag of Trix cereal, because I munch on them during class right before lunch.

MMM it's making me hungry. Ahaha.

Ned's PBJ Sandwich

peanut butter
grape jelly
2 slices bread

Mix peanut butter and jelly together in a bowl until completely blended (should be an icky gray color). Spread on sandwich bread. It doesn't look that pretty, but it sure tastes GREAT (trust me).

Avocado Sandwich

1 avocado
juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 slice American cheese
2 slices bread

Mash the avocado in a bowl. Add lemon juice, oil, garlic salt, salt, and pepper. Stir together. Spread over sandwich bread and top with a slice of American cheese.

Ham and Cheese Sandwich

1 slice sandwich ham
mustard or mayonaise
1 slice American cheese
1 slice bread

Put ham on sandwich bread. Spread with mustard or mayonaise. Take a slice of American cheese and cut out a simple shape such as a heart or star. Put cheese slice on top of ham slice. Kids love this simple open faced sandwich.

California Roll Up

1 whole wheat flour tortilla
4 slices deli shaved turkey breast
1 slice mozzarella cheese
4 thin slices cucumber
4 slices avocado
alfalfa sprouts

Layer tortilla with turkey breast, cheese, cucumber and avocado slices, and a handful of sprouts. Roll it up and slice in half. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap. Perfect for school lunches.

Tofu Burgers

1/2 block firm tofu
2 cups oats
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons oil
whole wheat buns

Cut up 1/2 tofu block into small cubes. Then mash the tofu with your hands and place in a large bowl. Add oats and soy sauce. Mix together well using your hands. Make tofu burger patties with your hands. Fry in oil until golden and crispy.

Drain on paper towels. Serve on a whole wheat bun with ketchup, lettuce, and any other burger toppings you like. Kids will love these healthy burgers.

Serves 4.

LEFTOVERS
Wrap sandwich
Home-made "lunchables" with your own selection of crackers, cut-up cheese, cut up meat, etc.
Hummus and bagel chips
Cold leftover pizza
Heat soup, stew, pasta, etc. in the microwave in the morning and put your portion in a wide-mouth Thermos (make sure it's rated to hold HOT food or you may have a great deal of difficulty opening it safely later - believe me, I see it ALL THE TIME).

Take cereal in a paper bowl covered in plastic wrap or in a tupperware bowl and buy a carton of milk at school or take some in a thermos so you can have a bowl of cereal for lunch!

Thermos' are great for taking a hot lunch anytime. Take chili in a thermos, fritos in a ziploc bag, and some shredded cheese in a separate baggy. At lunch, combine all for instant Frito Chili Pie.

One of my favorites is wraps. I especially like when we have chicken tenders leftover from the night before. I cut up a chicken tender and place on a tortilla, add some shredded cheese, and ranch dressing, and roll up. Microwave for about 30 seconds to melt cheese and soften. Eat cold or at room temperature for lunch. I also make wraps out of thinly sliced deli chicken or turkey with mustard, cheese, lettuce, and tomato.

Hope I helped!

Lunch Box Ideas
Fruit cups - These can be purchased at the store or you can slice up fruit and create your own concoctions. If you peel and slice apples, be sure to drizzle them with lemon juice so they won't turn brown.
Applesauce cups - The store-brand is inexpensive and great for children who enjoy applesauce.
Thermos of soup - Hot chicken noodle or vegetable soup will taste delicious on a cold day. Make sure the lid fits tightly but not too tightly so that your child can open it with ease at lunch time. Remember to include a spoon.
Cheese cubes - Send cubed cheese to school using cheddar or Colby cheeses.
Muffins - Make the regular-sized ones or mini muffins. Bake up a bunch using a quick recipe, store them in the freezer, and take out as needed. With so many varieties to choose from, surely you can find a muffin your child likes.
Frozen yogurt - If you are worried about yogurt spoiling in warmer weather, try sending frozen yogurt with your child in the morning. By lunch time, it should be thawed and provide a nutritious and delicious treat. Even if it is still a little icy, eating it is fun, just like eating a Popsicle!
Granola and dried fruit mixture - Take standard granola and add extra fruit. You can also make your own granola.
Celery and carrot sticks - Cut the veggies and pack them with a dipping sauce of honey mustard or ranch dressing.
String cheese - These are just plain yummy.
Cookie-cutter sandwiches - Using cookie cutters, cut soft white bread into shapes. First, cut the crusts off the bread (use them later to make a breakfast recipe) and then cut two slices of bread with the cookie cutters to make shapes -- stars or circles. Place your child's favorite sandwich ingredient between the slices. You can spread jelly, or mayonnaise and cheese, or pimento cheese.
Granola and fruit bars - These are store-bought. Buy the store brand or watch for the name brands to go on sale.
Raisins or dried cranberries - If your kids like these, they are great sources of vitamins. Easy to eat, these fruits are also easy to pack.
Tortillas with melted cheese - Place cheese on top of a flour tortilla and melt in the microwave. Then add another tortilla on top of the cheese to make a sandwich. Cut the tortillas in half and wrap in cellophane, then place in the lunch box.
Bagels with peanut butter - Tired of peanut butter and jelly on regular loaf bread? Try placing peanut butter on a plain or cinnamon-raisin bagel.
Graham crackers with peanut butter - Smother peanut butter between two graham crackers for a healthy treat.
