I'm so fond of vegetables?!

Question: Many people got mouth-watering when they heard chicken or beef, but for me: I'll be so delightd with mushroom, union, spinach, artichoke, asparagus, and many more.
Should I become vegetarian? I dont think so, cuz my skinny posture. I force myself to eat more meat and protein.
What do you think?

I love vegetable, never met one I didn't like. I wouldn't want to give us meat even though I only have it about 4 times a week. Even then I still have 4 vegetables. I only have small quantity of meat or fish or dairy but I still enjoy it because now I don't have it every day.

Thank you. I only have meat 3 or 4 oz a week, seafood once, eggs once, cheese once. I manage well on vegetables and bread & butter. Report It

  • You are fine. You just eat more veggies than meat, that is a GOOD thing! Most people make their main course chicken with a side of green beans, you just have yourself some green beans with a side of Chicken! That is how it should be really. You don't have to become a vegetarian if you don't want to.

My family LOVES veggies too!! It is sad that it is winter. We miss our vegetable garden. My 3 year old calls our backyard a 'farm'. LOL

I think you should eat what you want and don't eat what you have to force yourself to eat. Even though meat has a lot of protein you can get it from some other foods. Eat what you want and avoid what you don't.

Asparagus and onions make my mouth water!

Only become a vegetarian if you want to live that lifestyle. You don't have to become one because you love veggies so. I don't eat too much meat, but I wouldn't want to give up up some of my faves: chicken, burger, sausage.

actually, eating more veg than meat is very good, the limit on meat a week is quite low,im not a veggie but i tend to go 4 veg more than meat, though i say once a month i ravage a steak or some liver, mainly cos im hugely lacking in b12 i get very weak if i dont eat meat

You don't have to give up meat. But eat what you like and don't worry about what the title of it is called. At least that way you can eat veggies seasoned w/ meat or made w/ chicken stock and not get all arch about there being "meat essence" in it. You can also get lots of protein by eating beans or peas each day, couple with rice or quinoa (say keen-wa).
