Does anyone else eat a certain type of food for a long period of time and then move on to a different one?!

Question: I tend to want to eat a certain type of food for an extended period of time and then will just move on to a new one for a long time.. basically until I get sick of it.. I have now moved onto the Caprese Salad and crave it at every meal. I know I have done this since I was about 8 or so.. It all started with Ramen Noodles..lol.. My fiance has just caught onto this behavior and I am wondering if anyone else does this?

Yes, you are completely normal. LOL. My thing right now is pancakes. On weekend mornings I get a powerful urge for pancakes because as a kid we had pancakes on the weekends and I remember that being some of my happiest times.

Before it was black pepper. I had to have it on hot hot french fries and I loved to enhale the scent as the pepper opened up on the hot french fries. I would hold my head over the fries as I sprinkled on pepper and enhale. Come to think of it I did that with cinnimon and hot oatmeal. LOL

Yes that happens to me all the time, yes it is annoying but it'll go away (Hopefully!!!) Right now I am on Noodles..

I tend to do that with rootbeer and coke.

I do the same thing...if I crave something I really like, I'll eat it again and again until I'm sick of it then move onto something else. Thank god the pasta phase is over for a while..... (sigh)

I have always done this, I think sometimes my diet is off balance and nature is telling me for example "I need calcium" then I find myself eating all dairy for a while, then it's "I need vitamin C" then it's all green salads and vegetables & fruit.
Obviously I have to pay more attention to balancing my diet by better planning. The only thing is, if I'm craving seafood there goes all my planning again.
