What are the healthiest food items at fast food restaurants such as McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's Etc.?!
However, I wouldn't advise anyone who is trying to lose weight or maintain their health to eat at these fast food joints. At least try to eat out at places that offer a wider menu of healthy meals, like Applebee's (they offer a Weight Watchers menu) or even Chipotle, where you can create your own healthy burrito. Plus the meats are hormone and antibiotic free. Or even a deli, cafe, or restaurant that offers fresh soups, salads, wraps, and sandwiches.
Answers: I'd say to stick with the salads, but try to use the low-fat dressings (as the dressings are the main culprit of a high-calorie salad). If they don't have any low-fat dressings, then just use less of the full-fat one.

McDonalds garden salad seems to be the only healthy thing on the menu there, as long as you lay off the dressing or at most just use a little oil and vinegar.
the salads, and McDonald's yogurt fruit cups
