Coffee wars: How do you feel about Starbucks losing to McDonalds?!
Does this worry you, make you laugh, leave you indifferent or something else?

Answers: Starbucks is starting to get competition from McD's that they don't know how to fend off. On top of tyhis, 14,000 McD's are getting "coffee bars" installed, so they can serve lattes and more "upscale" coffee drinks.

Starbucks is very good but I find it is way to expensive to be able to pick it up daily. I think it is a good idea financially for McDonalds to get into the game and offer affordable coffees.
Eh....i think there always be venues specializing JUST at coffee, since people want to have a sense of coffess inductive environment early in the morning. I don't think Mc D's provides such environment. Well, not for me at least. On the other hand Starbucks has that morning jazz playing etc. you know what im talking about. its different.
good. i stopped getting starbucks and other expensive coffee a while back, when i discovered 'gas station' coffee. you can make your own cappuccinos in about any flavor, and mix and match different squirts of flavors. and all for about a buck.
MC D'S COFFEE & LATTE'S WILL NEVER STAND UP TO STARBUCK'S!!
wow! it doesnt bother me any
I love the Newmans organic coffee from McDonald's. I don't really like Starbucks, so it doesn't bother me at all!
pretty good...i'm over starbucks
"yes, i'll have one sausage biscuit and a McSpresso...."
this doesn't worry me in the least. i will still go to Starbucks.
Starbucks has a social conscious about their coffee. most of it is Fair Trade (meaning the coffee farmers are paid fairly for their product and that it is processed only where processing employees are paid fairly, too.) i don't think McDonalds will give two rat's rear ends about Fair Trade.
i am sort of sick of McDonalds trying to corner the market on everything. i would rather spend more money at a LOCALLY owned coffee shop than on a McLatte that is made of questionable ingredients.
