What are the steps for selling a food product?!

before you do ANYTHING else, you need to find out what the state laws are on food production. many a great food product has never made it to market because the maker didn't check the state laws FIRST.

this will tell you in what kind of kitchen you must produce your product among other things. this will give you an idea how much money you will need to invest to get started.

most states do not allow you to produce anything at home for retail or wholesale endeavor.

once you check that out, the rest will fall in place. plan on spending alot of money, tho! about 5 times what you think you will need.
