If you are putting it on a hot dog or eating it as Frito Pie or nachos, then without, but if it is a dish unto itself (with crackers or cornbread) then with! They are really two completely different dishes!

I always make 2 different pots of chili--one for me with beans and one for my husband without beans. Do both.

I love beans. To me chili is just not chili without beans. I also want my chili HOT and spicy. It is also good with shredded cheese or sour cream.
