Corn, vegggie or starch?!


Question: Hello....corn is a GRAIN. It is starchy, and not a vegie at all. However, the way it is used in U.S. is as a yellow vegie....NOT. It makes me sick how they try to make us think we are getting the benefit of a yellow vege when it should be subbed for bread or potato. ooo how we are hornswoggled! the menus dietician prep for schools....did they EVEN go to school...ex. meat loaf, mash potato, bread and you guessed it...corn! Don't get me wrong. I love a hot buttered ear of corn. But I eat it in place of a bread or potato.
