Atkins (low to 0 carb) lunch?!
i need another alternative for lunch, something creative, preferrably something i can get at a restaurant locally....

there are these great new noodles made out of tofu and they dont have any carbs. I like to saute them with butter and Mrs. Dash Tomatoe, basil and garlic mix. i'm doing the low carb thing and love it!I'm at the end of my second week and i've lost 8 pounds. email me for more recipes
Get a grilled chicken salad, or steak or fish with a side of green vegetables (no potato).
Well a 4 piece chicken nugget has 10 carbs......that's not allot for 10 carbs but some days it works. I get sick of eating just the beef on the double cheeseburgers.. Sometimes I get a taco salad with like 3 extra tacos. Ask for no beans or tortilla sprinkles things. Add the tacos to the salad and chow. Or just combine many tacos into a bowl minus the shells. The meat sauce has a few carbs. No big deal. Another good one is break fest for lunch. Get a omelet minus the milk with a couple extra sides of bacon or sausage. Sometimes I'll get a corned beef.Ruben with sauerkraut and take off the bread..mix it up and eat it like a salad. Just use a tiny amount of salad dressing. That's my fave.... If your new to the diet then its actually exciting because everday you will find out something new you can eat. Oh lets see now more ideas.... For home..snacks purchase pepporini, cheese cubes, peanuts, peanut butter, sugar free jelly, Low carb bread, etc etc. If your new its time to start getting a tolerance to sugar alcohols. Mainly in sugar free chocolates.. another fav is low carb ice cream. I hope this helps..I could actually go on for hrs here.
Try a slice of roast beef with horseradish and some cooked veggies, leftover carrots and green beans perhaps. All cold but will taste good.
I can't think of a life without carbohydrates.
