Can you drink a cup of coffee and then go to sleep?!


Question: or does it make you wired? I LOVE coffee... especially with sugar cookies from 7-11!! LOL thanks for all the crazy answers for that question by the way... Anyway, I can drink coffee, and go back to sleep in the moring, caffiene doesn't affect me...

I had to see what other questions you had up after that 7-11 sugar cookie dilemna....Yep, I'm in the same boat as you. I can drink it at midnight and go right to sleep, or in the morning and go back to bed. It would be better though with the sugar cookie. Or a chocolate chip. Or a double fudge. Or...you get the idea.....

My mum always said that I wasn't allowed to drink coffee,tea or coke after 5pm, but now that I'm in college, I drink that stuff and it still doesn't affect me!.....Yes, even Red Bull doesn't...

It does me. The last coffee I have is at 2.30 pm. Other wise I'm wake until about 3 am. I usually have 1- 2 cups a day , with no sugar and only skim milk.

i was reading this thing where coffee doesnt giv u energy, it just blocks off the "tired" feelings..

I actually feel relaxed and sleepy after a cup of coffee. I am like you kinda. It doesn't affect me like everyone says it does them except frequent trips to the restroom after two cups.

Coffee usually starts to affect me within 3-5 hours after I drink it. If I drink coffee and go to bed right after, I should be able to fall asleep. But if I wait for 3 hours, I won't be able to fall asleep.

The weird thing is that whenever I study, coffee just doesn't work. No matter how much coffee I drink, I just keep falling asleep =P

i dont drink coffee... but i love tea and can drink gallons of it before bed and not be affected!

I can. I used to drink so much coffee when I was in college that caffeine doesn't affect me anymore. I can drink like 10 cups of coffee, and then turn in for the night.

And sugar cookies rock! Lol. I say if you have a craving for something (food-wise), you should definitely go for it. I should know, I have a craving for ice cream right now (and it's 10:30 in the morning). I'll think I'll go have some...
