How do you choose ripe and sweet fruits?!
Answers: Mainly pineapples, watermelons, melons, pomelo, mangoes, kiwis, grapes, durian and red plums? Most of the time i get the sour ones... *_*
ripe and sweet fruits are normally soft to the touch...for example a red plum will be soft instead of hard and crunchy. if it's still hard , it means it hasn't fully ripened , and will be sour. Red plums tend to be sour anyways...try getting the darker purple plums . They 're sweeter. Pineapples....i guess you coudl go with canned since i dont know how to choose the fresh ones. Watermelons...there's this silly thing about knocking on it and seeing if it sounds hollow or not..never quite got that one.
The individual fruits should smell like the one you want to eat, especially peaches. Grapes... I see too many people at the supermarket snitch a globe and try it. Strawberries, you have to go with the color. Things like that. If you find you bought fruit too green, put them in a paper sack and leave for a day or two. They ripen faster that way.
