When I was a kid there was a Hickory Farms store located in our local mall. The employees would slice their famous beef stick, place it on a stick, cook it on a grill and then baste it with their famous sweet & sour sauce. The aroma was so irresistible that I rarely had any difficulty convincing my mom to get one. Of course she always made a deal with me that I could only buy a beef stick on a stick if I promised to share it with her. Smart lady!
