Have you ever eaten peanut butter & jelly with hot dog/hamburger buns OR weiners/beef patties...?!

Question: With REGULAR bread? & folded the bread in 1/2 to look like a hot dog? My brother would somehow manage to force hamburger & hot dog buns in the toaster & make peanut butter & jelly sandwiches. The other day, the hot dog buns were gonna go bad, & my friend suggested I use it with the tuna I made since the other bread was almost gone. That was a very funny feeling.

I've just moved out on my own for the first time Feb 07 (not quite a year yet) and me and my roommates do that A LOT, especially since bread is all the same and we're poor!!

haha, i use hotdog/hamburger buns for sandwiches alot(when we have em)

i've used bread on hotdogs/burgers too..its ok, but dosnt hold it verry well.....

who toastes the buns? i dont...i just eat it. lol

Sure do...when you're on a budget, you learn to stretch a nickle until the "buffalo poops"!

I do this all the time when money is low and I can't afford to buy more sandwich bread. It's all the same really. The only difference is that hot dog and hamburger buns are usually white bread, and I prefer to eat wheat.

No, we don't usually have hot dog or hamburger buns around so I just use plain ol bread. I wouldn't mind it though.

I will tell you what you should really do with your hot dog buns. You take them, put peanut butter on each side of the bun, then you peel a banana and put the whole thing in the hot dog bun (like you would with a hot dogO; that way you have a great peanut butter and banana sandwich to eat. It is fun too!!!
