Thermos flasks?!
Answers: Any ideas about the best quality thermos flasks, especially those that are large enough for food.
Thermos is still an excellent brand (though beware, if you're in the US 'thermos' has lost its trademark status and is now used as a generic label for vacuum flasks in general).
Stormlite is another very good brand: they do a big 1.5 litre flask which I use for hot picnic lunches because it has three separate stacking pots inside it.

If you're buying a large conventional flask, go for an all-steel flask rather one with a glass liner.
I have one pretty much like this (and yes, it is a brand-name Thermos) http://www.thermos.co.uk/products.php?pr... -- mine's done 20 years so far, is covered in dents (having been dropped 12 feet down off a harbour wall into six inches of sea over rocks, among other adventures!) and is still going strong. =D
Get one made by Thermos. They are after all the Daddy of vaccuum flask makers....
Hi,Thermos is the best as someone said they are the DADDY of flask makers ,I bought a food thermos just before Christmas it has a wider neck and is an unbreakable one too,it was quite cheap at £6.99 it holds probably about two pints,it still has the cup so if you took soup or stew in it you could at a pinch use it if you forgot your dish!!I got mine in Southampton but they would be available elsewhere i would imagine.
I like the all stainless steel thermos made by Stanley. They come in various sizes. I've had the large size one for 15 yrs. They are very durable. They are very good in keeping your beverage hot or cold.
