Why are all donut boxes pink?!
Answers: Everytime I go to the Donut Shop and get a dozen or so donuts, why do they always give you them in a pink box?
That's a very interesting question! It's fun to study how colors play a major role in the marketting of a product. With donuts, pink tends to be a more maternal color, and warm colors (reds, pinks, oranges, etc.) incite hunger. So not only are you making that person hungry, but you are also reminding them of something maternal, which is comforting. Next time you get donuts from the Donut Shop (or Dunkin Donuts, etc.) where the box is pink, think about what emotions you are feeling, even if it is very slight. A pink box of donuts is simultaneously comforting and enticing.
However, I would have to agree that Krispy Kreme is THE BEST and their boxes are not pink. They don't need to manipulate us with silly colors haha. I don't know.
Probably to appeal to us women!! lol
I can think of many places that the boxes are not pink. My local bakery uses plain white boxes. Krisy Kreme are White with their green and red logo.
Krispy Kreme( which are the best) come in green, red and white boxes.
