Which gum contains sweetener sorbitol?!

Question: i heard it causes diarrea and helps weight loss

Answers: i heard it causes diarrea and helps weight loss

I have some trident right here, the first ingredient is sorbitol.
Sorbitol is one of the sugar alcohols. Fewer calories than sugar, better for the teeth and for diabetics in moderation.
Xylitol is the big one that is advertised on the front of the gum container, it is also one.
Anyway it has a laxative effect when taken in high doses. It won't help you lose weight (well it will if you use it as a laxative but that is just water weight). It will only last a limited amount of time because your body will adapt to it as a laxative.
