I love chicken salad, but I usually just eat it by itself with crackers, it just seems better to me that way. Never had ham salad. I saw it being made one time when I had a stomach ache and it made me have to throw up, so I've had a bad experience with that and just can't make myself try it. But chicken salad is great! Here's how I do mine.

1 boiled chicken breast
Mayo to your liking
1/2 small onion
1/2 stalk celery
1/2 cup slivered almonds
Salt and pepper to your liking

Eat that by itself with some Keebler Club crackers and it's great!
