Is it normal for sugar free gum to melt in your mouth after chewing for a while?!


Question: Hello,

I was chewing sugar free gum and it was a hot day here in Florida...then all of a sudden the gum kind of melted in my mouth...I had to spit out pick goo all over the place......

....Its this normal for sugar free gum to do this? I was chewing Extra Sugar Free.

yea.its normal.since its suger free...it doesnt have all the contents actual chewing gum has.which makes kinda fall apart and nasty,also not as stretchy.so you cant chew it for a long period of time.hope i helped. =)

ya, its because if you chew the gum for a realy, really long time it gets all goooeeyy (liquidy) and you did the right thing just throw it otherwise you can just swallow it and swallow liquid gum is bad! hope i helped!

yea mine does that too...but its not cuz u chewed it 4 too long cuz most gum gets hard...its cuz they replace the sugars with sugar alcohols and other crap...
