Slow cooker recipies?!

Question: I have a slow cooker that is gathering dust that I have had for about 5 years. I am a working mum and would love some nice easy, preferably low fat, meals that I can put on when I get up at 5 in the morning, and will be ready when I pick my daughters up from school. Nothing too spicy please.

a large beef roast
1 jar pepperoncini peppers
cook on low all day

put meat in a hard chewy roll salt and pepper to taste
dunk the roll in the juices and eat

Try half a jar of peppers if it is too spicy

Homemade soups with crusty breads. Yum!

The low fat chicken tonight jars you get are quite nice - i like honey and mustard sauce. Just cut some chicken breast into strips and throw a jar over then cook on low heat all day.

as a working mum, here's a good one, and very nurishing too. wash and pat dry 6 good sized chicken breasts. cut up 3 med. size potatoes 1/2 's scrape three carrots
a can of corn kernels a package of frozen peas, put all the above in the cooker, cover with chicken broth and/or water, cover set on low and come home to a hot dinner. left over chicken ? make sandwiches for lunches! enjoy!

I use my crock pot all the time... there is no greater smell than to come home and smell dinner cooking. The easiest and most flavorful recipe I use all the time is Beef cubes over rice. all you do is get a pound of beef cubes and a can of mushroom soup with an equal can of water. Put all of this in a crock pot on medium for 6-8 hours... and the meat melts in your mouth and it makes the richest gravy ever without doing a thing to create it!!! I use 2 cans of soup to 2 cans of water with 1 pound of meat (to stretch it a little further) for a family of 5 and I don't even thaw out the meat....I start it with frozen beef cubes... If you can't find large beef cubes you can cut up a sirloin steak and get the same results.
