Stick to fish or chicken with vegetables or salads rather than fried foods.
get water, have a salad, try not to eat anything too creamy like fettuccini alfredo, nothing too salty (according to my aunt, salt causes the body to retain water and get fatter), and nothing too sweet and covered in frosting.
Salads and soups! And if you have an option or they give you an option why ordering chicken between friend and grilled, grilled is so much better for you and it has a smokeyish flavor to it! Baked foods are healthier for you to, also see if the have a weight watchers section, usually those are pretty healthy! They have to be!
Fruit and veggies are good!
Like at McDonalds, get a fruit parfait and apple dippers! They are light and yummy!
The key to eating out is not to order fried foods , try baked or grilled foods . Portion your meals most places serve their plates as whole portions or half portions for those of us that don't eat much. Some places also have a diet menu .
Order anything that appeals to you and eat no more than half the portion served. Restaurants serve meals that are two to three times what a normal serving should be. This is why whenever I go out to eat, I order whatever I want. I know I'll get at least two meals out of it. (Unless they let me order off the kids' menu.)
