Who do you think the best chef in the United States, and why?!
Answers: That's a tuff one to answer. Our cuisine comes from such a huge melting pot.,it's very hard to pick.
they may not be a chef, but I like Alton Brown and Rachael Ray. I also like Mario Batali because they all make simple dishes that taste good and they don't act like they know everything like Bobby Flay.
Me. Because I actually make food that people can find in normal grocery stores, and food that normal people will eat.
.ME........ years of practice and NO showboating just good food with quality and quanity.

Rachael Ray is great.
She makes quick and east meals that a lot of ppl like, even stuff for kids.
Plus, she's just a generally happy person. :]
Emeril! hes funny, talented, and intelligent.
I'm gonna have to say Emeril Lagasse. He's a chef that has a solid history and reputation and is widely respected. In addition to being a great food historian he's also a fabulous businessman, marketing both his restaurants and himself. Plus he's just a very likable person.
