yum! i love them too!

they don't do much for you in the nutritious way but they are fiber..and that's good for you and your digestive system.

That is cocaine in its natural form - surprising that people will kill for it on the streets, when all they have to do is go eat an orange, which will provide them with their daily vitamin C requirements. After that, they can snort some peel.

It's a pretty wild ride...

Its known as pericarp, albedo or pith! still good for u like the rest of the fruit!

It is called pith and no there is not much nutriitional value

Its called the pith. It is also on the outside of the orange when you peel it. It is edible, but very bitter.

it's the PITH,the layer between the fruit&peel(skin/zest)has absolutly no nutritional value what so ever(in fact may even clog u up)i have not heard of it having any dietry fibre benefits&most people do not like the taste of them..but if you do,then each to his/her own.
PS:it may not be too good for you'r insides in the long run.
