I have just given up red meat and pork..........?!
Answers: would you do the same, and what do u think the benefits are of giving up these foods?
I've already given up pork, a long time ago. And cut my beef intake severely. And I LOVE red meat. After a while you feel different. Your body doesn't feel as sluggish. I think you gain energy. And...A reason to say snobbishly, "I don't consume red meat or pork! Hummph!" lol
I don't eat much of those either. I have found that my skin is clearing up and my plumbing works better.
There will be one less dead cow and dead pig carcass to deal with at the end of the year.
well i was born a vegetarian---everyone in my family is a vegetarian, because its against our religion... i cant really say if i would do the same, because i wouldnt know what they taste like (not that i would want to)
there's tons of benefits (besides knowing that your not eating dead animal) for alot of people, its better for their body...its alot healthier not to eat them.
I wouldn't give them up and I don't think there is any benefit to giving them up. I don' t eat large portions of meat, maximum 4 oz each time. And I only eat meat, poultry, pork, lamb,seafood about 3 or 4 times a week. I know when I need to eat meat because my body let's me know what vitamins or minerals it needs. I rarely eat fruit but I eat all vegetables & pastas and grains.
Are you only going to give up red meat and pork or are you planning on becoming a vegetarian.
my husband stop eating red meat and pork a few years ago and have gained 20 pounds
i still eat beef and pork a couple of times a week and have not gained a pound
mmmmmmmmmmmm
