Question: It is in my opinion. I would grab a banana on my way out the door to school for the last three years in high school. I wasn't hungry till lunch time.

yeah but it really doens't fill you up

yupp...good for your taste buds yumm

A bannana is a good breakfast, because it has potassium in it, and it is also a fruit with a bunch of other benifits, but you might not want to eat just a banana. It would be better if you ate a banana, maybe a cup of lowfat yogurt. That should satisfy your hunger, and you won't be tempted to eat anything else.

Yes, it actually is. So is an apple.

Yes, for you my banana is filling, nutritious and satisfying.

A banana has lots of potassium and carbs for energy, but you need some protein too or your blood sugar with crash in an hour or so and you'll be hungry all over again. Bananas are great for you, but not complete in and of themselves for a meal.

Try some eggs or eggwhites, or meat of some kind. If you're a vegetarian, make a smoothie with a banana and some smooth tofu. Throw in some frozen strawberries and some splenda and you're set!

Not great but better than nothing.A banana with a bowl of healthy cereal would be better.

No, monkeys make a better lunch.

It's definitely part of a good, nutritious breakfast. You need a bit of protein with it, though. How about half an english muffin, a swipe of peanut butter, and the banana? This would take less than 1 minute to prepare and can be eaten as you walk out the door.

It's a good start, but it won't keep you full for very long. Try a banana sliced up on top of some healthy cereal.

No its not. You need to balance out your carb, protein, fat, and fruit and veggie intake or you can gain weight and have a lack of nutrients. Try half a bagel (carb) 3 oz of turkey or eggs whites (protein) some almonds or peanut butter (fat) and a fruit. If you dont have time for all of that, maybe find one of those breakfast shakes that has a little of everything. Good luck!

In my experience (and from what my girlfriends would tell me) eating a banana for breakfast is a great way to 'get things moving' if you know what I mean...if you DON'T know what I mean...don't ask.

Yes. If you have time for bread & butter, make a sandwich.
