Re-create taste of blood?!

Question: I was wondering what drinks and/or foods can be combined to re-create the slightly metallic/salty taste of blood.

I dont think many people actually know what it tastes like, and I also doubt it all tastes the same. You get a somewhat metallicy taste when a liquid is stored in an aluminum can for a long time. Maybe that with some salt might work.

Why?

eeeeewwwww!

Use real blood.

hmm. thts a relly good question but kind of creepy. lol

YUCK
well, for that metallic taste you could try some baking powder or baking soda, salt or soy sauce - go easy on the soy sauce as it has a distinctive flavor. water to taste.
that's all i can think of
good luck???????

on this page lists several recipes on how to make edible fake blood http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Fake-Blood

i think the non-toxic blood using corn syrup is teh best one.
then salt it down to get the saltiness. forget about getting the metallic flavor, it's hard to do. do not use iron supplements, because it can be toxic at certain doses, and lethal to small kids.
