Where can i buy meats such as kangaroo?!

Question: Anywhere in Liverpool do them?

Answers: Anywhere in Liverpool do them?

If you head to a "Walkabout" pub (an Australian chain) in the UK, u can get kangaroo fillet or alligator steak from their main menu.
Ask a member of staff if you are having trouble identifying it!

See the link ive attached!!!

Australia.

ewwwww dont eat kangaroos

wth is wrong with you

Go to Australia

ooh, poor kangaroos.

the zoo! is kana nice wat duz it taste like??

Local butchers usually stock meats like that, also Ostrich.

down under of course. lol

you shouldn't be eating kangaroo that's nasty what did they do to you you weirdo!!! yuck!!

Google

www.exoticmeats.com!
i've wanted to order from them but have yet to.

wooow
u are wow try googling them

Specialist game shops may sell it....but generally frozen of course unless you live in Oz...not sure why people are moaning , its a very healthy meat and low in cholesterol...maybe they used to watch Skippy.

Australian food store or any shop which specailes in exotic meat, also you can ask your local butcher and see if they can get some =D and good choise on meat =P

don't buy it, it's DISGUSTING.

i ate some on a dare and it was honestly the most horrid thing i've ever tasted in my life. but i live in australia so you can get it anywhere here.

are there any aussie specialty stores/deli's? maybe they'd have it there?

ps. are aussies the only ones who actually EAT their national icons??

also for those of you who are making a big song and dance about how mean it is, do you eat other meats?? and do you know how many bloody kangaroos we have down here? i cannot see the difference between a cow steak and a kangaroo steak. AND i'm now a vegetarian before you all accuse me of being some massive animal killer :P

Go into a Butcher and ask if they have got any in stock - NOT a supermarket butcher, but an independant one

Skippy's stores Australia I guess

theres a resturant/bar chain that sell Kangaroo Steaks on their menus - its called Walkabout...
not sure if anywhere else would.
But thats a last resort i guess

G'Day mate!

You could try the Farm shop by `Farmer Teds` which is in Lydiate.

Or the farmer market

Also Walkabouts do Kangaroo steak, Kangaroo Fillets, Kangaroo Kebabs and Kangaroo Salad.
Find one at Concert Square on Fleet Street Liverpool.

Hope ive helped.

who would eat that you are so mean!

Check out your local farmer's market if you have them in Liverpool. We have them in East Anglia and they sell all kinds of meat like kangaroo, ostrich etc

The link below supplies them in the UK to trade and private customers.
I have eaten in restaurants they supply and can vouch for their Kangaroo, Ostrich, Boar, Crocodile and Springbok.
They also attend some continental food markets that you find around the country from time to time... farmers markets usually have a specific radius of the market that the producers represented have to be within.
Not sure if they supply Walkabout, but wouldn't take their cooking to be any better than any other pub chain.

don't know about Liverpool but we have a butchers shopthat sells it in
our shopping centre
