A question on grapefruit juice and breakfast...?!
Answers: I'm not a breakfast person, in fact I'm more of a grazer then a meal eater. I love grapefruit juice. Is it healthy? Can it give me a jump start in the am?
Grapefruit juice is very acidic. You really need to eat something as it can upset. Dieters use it as an aid to kick start their digestion. Balance it with hot cereal or whole grain toast and an egg.
It has Vit. C, just like O.J. You should really eat something as breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

It's a healthy source of Vitamin C but it has few calories that are only from carbs and really won't prevent you from overeating later in the day. A breakfast incorporating protein, a small amount of healthy fats and fiber into your breakfast is better. A piece of whole wheat toast with peanut butter with your juice would be a good addition.
