How long does the powdery instant pudding (that you have to add milk to) last until you have to throw it out?!

Question: I made it like a week & a half ago, & it's been refrigerated the whole time. Is it still good? How long before it goes bad & I have to throw it away?

The eggs are probably ok - put them in a bowl of water - I have heard if they float they are not good - but I bet days from the STORE date, they are fine!

As for the pudding - If in doubt, throw it OUT! Sounds like a long time to keep it made and it's probably not going to tast very gooe by now anyway.

The expiration date on eggs is more or less a legaliety thing. Like an expiration date on sugar(wtf?)

Just don't keep eggs for like, a month over the date, gross....a few days, fine. But are you sure that's the expiration date not the sell-by date?(add 3wks if it's sell-by btw)

erm, the pouder itself can last indefinatly on the shelf dry. Does the pudding have mold on it? probably not. it's fine b/c the sugar acts as a presertave. Just eat it up b4 it does go bad

HOW on earth did u keep pudding for a week? i alone have eaten 1/2 a package in a sitting

ask someone who know sorry

Smell it. If it smells bad dont eat it.

maybe 2 weeks or more

Throw the pudding out honey. It's time has passed. The eggs are iffy. I say let them go, too. Don't you mess around and get food poisoning on me now when I've just found you again. ?

The eggs are still good. They should be real good for another week or so. Throw out the pudding. I know that you, like me, probably hate to waste things but it wouldn't taste that great, so skip it.
