Would you eat meat that has been cloned?!
Answers: No way. We dont know enough. Three months of testing and they give it the okay? No thanks.
Why not? If the cloned animal is physically identical to a non-cloned animal, what's the difference? This is not sci-fi-horror, it's just mundane real life.
.
Huh, why not?
They are talking about cloned meat on the news right now. But no I problably wouldnt eat cloned meat. Well it isnt really cloned meat I wouldnt think, I think it would be meat from a cloned animal... IDK
I am a former chef and even though this debate has risen from the ashes again and now is a part of the norm, essentially all meat has been modified over the centurys from the original species that they originated from.
Cloning like genetic modification will not only make meat safer, but breed out diseases like Mad Cow and other genetic diseases, but cloning only produces an animal that is structurally and genetically the same as the original, for years they have cross bred species and perfected the breeds for fat, muscle structure and all round quality.
Now if they started do weird things like crossing a cow with a cat, so your milk not only mows it meows to, then you can draw the line.
