Does Borscht taste like eating dirt to you?!
Answers: i prefer a cabbage borscht. beets taste like dirt but then so does a good merlot.
NOPE SECOND question ......what is your age and IQ?
not exactly, but it can have that earthy sort of flavour. spice it up a bit perhaps.
best wishes.
Possibly more like the taste of power tools, but seriously I don't know what it is. Sounds nice though.
Add slugs and snails to taste.
It depends on the type of potatoes you use. White cooking potatoes can give the soup a dirty flavour, red or yellow is the best. Then your cabbage should always be red. It is one of my favorites, whith a spoon of sour cream on top. Winter warmer, it's good. So I suggest giving another try, made by a picky cook.
Nope, not even close. A good hot borscht tastes great, especially with some raw garlic, salt and bread to munch on as a side dish. Makes it spicy hot with the raw garlic. Plus it has the additional benefit of making your presence very unlikable to anyone which is to your advantage when you demand an answer and inform them you are not leaving till you get one.
It is really good filling potholes with, so traffic can commence.
If it is cooked properly it is a wonderful soup. I Love it.
I love a good Borscht
No, but then I have never eaten dirt.
You are definitely eating the wrong Borscht. Like oxtail soup, in the wrong hands Borscht can be atrocious and I know that good Gazpacho is possible because I had it ONCE!
Good Borscht is a thing of beauty, simple, savoury and satisfying (It costs about 5 cents a bowl to make too). Sour cream and fresh cracked black pepper are essential.
There is a great Afghan variation called Aush (?), with or without meat...yum.
i'm down and dirty with the merlot nono. but i perfer my beets pickled.
