Is eating meat wrong?!
So I am wondering what people think about eating meat. Is it wrong? Right? Just the way it is? etc.
If you do think eating meat is wrong please explain why eating plants is ok as we know 1) they are alive 2) respond to enviornment 3) respond to human stimuli 4) reproduce. 5) adapt + evolve.
I am just curious about this
Answers: Let me start off stating I am an omnivore so I eat meat+veggies and enjoy them both very much (as my waistline can attest).

if eating a steak, porkchops or chicken is a sin then in going to hell.
there is nothing wrong with eating meat - theres nothing wrong with not eating meat either - more for us!!!!!!!
MEAT - its whats for dinner!
Eating meat is an instinct; not eating meat is a choice
Dennis Leary
I dont think so... but its really up to you
meat is important, it stimulates your brain, without it humans would have never evolved
We are born meat eaters, the rest is garnish.
It's not wrong, it's delicious
Why eat meat or veg at all? We can all survive all our lives just drinking cow's milk. Be a Nullivore, eat neither!
one thing about meat is that when the living creature is being killed or when it senses that it is going to be killed, it releases toxins which go into our system when we eat them. so, some people avoid it for medical reasons like this. this is not the case with plants
Eating meat is Ok and if you are a live animal that has the ability to eat meat, Go for it. It is actually good for you
No it's not I'm a christian and I believe in certain things myself God says he gave us certain animals as a food source but that's entirely your choice I have a friend who's a vegetarian because her mother is an animal activist so you have to decide that for yourself
if u eat red meat (not chicken etc) more than 2x a week, ur risk getting colon cancer will increase anyway despite of all that....
First, you have to decide how you're going to judge "right" and "wrong."
I believe most people accept food as "right" based on what was fed to them, as they were raised.
When it comes to the question of what was intended to be eaten as food by humans, you have to decide for yourself if you believe in Biblical teachings, or if you believe what other people have decided they believe.
We need protein to survive so eating meat is an instinct. Whether or not you choose to follow that instinct is up to you.
I don't care either way. I could live without eating meat but I choose not to.
its just nature
hiii. in my opinion eating meat is wrong. like animals have feelings and even though they cant tell us what they feel, we should realise that slitting the throat of a chicken etc isnt exactly the nicest feeling. Even tho ppl argue with me about, 'plants are living things too' plants dont feel the pain that animals feel, they go through horrible a horrible life on a farm and slaughterhouse etc. also being a vegetarian is really good for your body and your health! all u would really need to take is iron tablets. but thats my opinion! im not like 'TURN VEGGIE OR IL KILL YOU' lol its your choice..

It is easier to disregard something that we find to be dissimilar to us.
Plants and animals are living things. The difference is, the guilt of killing something that has a recognizable face. Mammals, in general, know how to read other mammals. We all have similar facial expressions for our feelings. We cannot sympathize with plants very well, so it would be easier to kill it, and not think much about it.
I can understand not eating meat because it tastes like crap. You would have to be pretty unstable to tell someone else that they think meat is nasty tasting...
Killing is killing, period. I kill and eat both plants and animals for my survival. It is nature. Don't fight your nature, you will lose.
Eh, in short, the answer to your question here, lies in yourself. No one, but yourself, can determine what your beliefs are.
The best way to deal with the whole world, is to deal with your own world.
Eating meat is not wrong. Man is a hunter and carnivore. It is a personal choice if you do not wish to eat it.
in my opinion if humans and other carnivores and omnivores didn't eat other animals there would be overpopulation think about it if every single living creature lived on without dieing an unnatural death the world wouldn't have enough vegetables and fruits to provide for humans AND animals and eventually the animals and humans would starve because the land would become barren this is the whole process of the food chain we eat the animals that eat the grass the grass has time to grow and we all die in the end we all decompose and fertilize the earth so that the earth can live on and many people say we can live on by taking supplements because we have evolved if we evolved we wouldn't have to take the supplements
