What is the worst canned meat product which is sold for human consumption?!

Question: Used to be some canned beef called "Ox and Palm" which was supposed to be the floor sweepings from meat works. This was sold in Australia in small amounts along the bottom shelf of a few supermarkets but I'm told it was popular on certain Pacific Islands. I saw an open can of it once - it seemed to be mainly fat. It might have been canned in Papua - New Guinea. It was recently banned in Fiji as the Fiji government said it was not made in clean enough conditions.

By contrast, Spam, which I have tried once or twice, is pretty good.

spam

Not sure if Spam is a meat product, but it takes an awful lot of mustard for me to "enjoy" that product.

spam buddy

yehhhhhhh deffinately spam,,

Spam is soooooo not the worst, I've just had a spam sanrie with brown sauce on.............. delicious!!! lol

There are those who dislike corned beef and spam BUT they fed thousands of GIs and Allied servicemen during WW2, not to mention starving refugees in war torn Europe and civilians in bombed out Britain. Frankly and honestly, if I had to choose between eating spam & corned beef and going hungry, I would eat spam and corned beef and like it. Actually, we all know they are not gourmet 3 Michelin star products BUT they can taste pretty good if you know how to cook them. I have some great recipes for spam. In addition, they are not all that bad for you unless you have it morning, noon and night, like the dumbnut in the movie "Upsize" who had Macdonalds for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and then had the gall to say Macdonalds food ruined his health. Macdonalds did not ruin his health, he did it all by himself through his free will and conscious choice. Enjoy! {:-)

SPAM.

A spam sandwich is the worst thing I've EVER come across to feed a human.

Well....other than roadkill....But that was a bet,....and I was drunk at the time.

Actually, I just thought of a far worse sandwich.

What if someone offered me a mixed sandwich, comprising of two pieces of delightfully fresh, still warm thick-cut wholemeal bread slices, filled with great London-doorstep chunks of assorted spam, spam, spam and spam, topped with another four wallopingly generous slices of juicy, greasy spam.
The only flavour (and nutrition)coming from the fact that they threw the tin in as well.

Dan.

.

corned beef hash in a can YECHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Canned vienna sausages. Tastes like baby pablum. (I hate to say something other than Spam!)

Deviled Ham!! Way worse than Spam! I've only eaten spam once in my life. My step-sons actually like it. I let Dad serve it. The only thing worse may have been something called "potted meat"! Yuck!! I don't remember eating it, but I gotta think it's nasty!

I don't think I have ever eaten the worst canned meat product and I really like Spam.

Vienna sausages. tried them once and that was enough!

SPAM & TREAT MEAT

i think everyone of those things mentioned above are gross . but are there picky eaters in prison ? you eat what you get , does not matter if you like it or not when your in there. out here we have a choioce , that's one reason i don't understand the fast food craze , that stuff is gross also . but it's just my opinion

Spam
Potted Meat
Vienna Sausages
Deviled Ham
Corned Beef Hash

*Winnie's face turning green* :-(

Spam. It's disgusting.

Spam

I can't understand why everyone's answer was Spam. Spam was developed for our military troops overseas during World War II so our men could enjoy meat instead of all the dehydrated and powdered food that they had to eat. It was a meat in a can that needed no refrigeration. Spam is only chopped ham in a can and very tasty. For me, the worst canned meat product sold for human consumption is Sardines. Yuck!!

most would say spam i love it fry ed with a runny egg in between to slices of bread

deviled ham...uggg
