have a banana, or make a sald, they can be really filling, and healthy! It will keep you going a bit. Why do you want to lay off crisps anyway? You can buy crisps with low calorie easy.
You can get packets of french fries and others with only 98 calories! Go shopping for healtyhier packets of crisps rather than repalacing them. Or have some grapes, an orange, or dried fruit packets, they're in pakcets like crisps and you can snack on them, or a yoogurt!
All the ideas came into my head at once. Lol. :)
I have a friend adicted to crisps, she eats like 4 packets a day, she's not even chubby though! She's so lucky. You can eat crisps if you want but excercise aswell and it's not a problem. :)

Toasted brown bread

Any kind of nut, preferrably unsalted, will have far greater nutritional value than flavored fried potato! Especially cashews or walnuts.
Also try banana or dried fruit chips - usually found in health food stores.

Could try Sunbites from walkers very good for you!

Low sodium pretzels
Dry cereal (try Special K or Kashi)
Celery sticks
Carrots
Cucumber or zucchini (sliced or cut into strips)
Oranges
Bananas
Berries

DRY FRUITS

Godd old old fanshioned oatmeal.

Crisps are actually quite healthy if you eat them in moderation. Watch the amount of salt. Try vegetable crisps too (made from carrot/beetroot/parsnip etc) - sounds weird but they're lovely!

Ice cream and chocolate chips.

How about low fat crisps by weight-watchers or try some grapes or other fruit. Also try sunflower seeds, these are delicious.

try the snack a jacks you will either love them or hate them but some flavours are better than others i like the caramel or salt and vinegar . the texture takes some getting used to but they are healthier than crisps.

Like you, I like crisps.
I have just had a large portion of raw broccoli,
only 40p from the veg shop. Very enjoyable, which surprised me somewhat.
Why not give it a try yourself?

try what i do. i replace this crisps with a box of chocolates, packet of fags large bottle of wine and a dvd. ok so it may not be healthier but it will make you feel good. untill the next days when you get on the scales with a raging hangover. hope my advise is of help to you.

breadsticks and a healthy dip like garlic

I usually have fresh celery or carrot sticks when I feel the urge to snack on something..or maybe some fresh fruit or nuts.
Although it may not taste as good as the crisps, it's definitely more healthier :D
