How is Sour Cream made?!

Question: Well as a former chef and it is a mix of milk, milk solids, bacterial cultures, thickeners like (guar gum, carrenagen, locust bean gums), water and other milk based additives.

It is made alot like yougart, but ranges from the light to be 5% BF to regular at 15% BF, here in Canada I have used a specialty one at 30% BF.

Fat-free is just thickeners and some milk now real cream or high fat ingredients.
