Its been in the news here as of 3 weeks ago...the diacetyl, or butter flavor/fragrance, does cause popcorn lung. I am not really familiar with what the symptoms, they did not have that in the report...but people have become really ill, and it is not cureable unless caught at onset.

no

Yes,it is called,"Popcorn Lung," and it is basically caused by the chemicals that popcorn companies use to add butter flavoring to their popcorn. If I am not mistaken, alot of the major popcorn companies are taking out the cancer causing butter flavoring out of their products as we speak.

Never heard of that problem. Microwave cooking is perfectly healthy, of course, that would depend on what you put into the oven.

Microwave popcorn is filled with a terrible radiation that can cause people to grow a third eye or arm. It happened to my good friend Jonny this last weekend. Some of the popcorn also jumped out of the bag and grabbed his arms, pinning him to the wall without prejudice. It was a scary situation that I don't care to witness again any time soon.
