Ewwww...what is that they put in front of you?!
Answers: What is the most disgusting food someone ever tried to serve you? Did you try it because you were daring? Did you eat it anyway because you were polite? Spill the proverbial beans!
Liver and onions with horseradish
My mother made me eat this when I was a little kid,and I threw up all over the place, not kidding! :-(
I ate snail, tasted like dirt and my mother-in-law from hell didn't tell me until I was chewing like nasty ****. Of course I spit it out.
Honey glazed Cow Tongue with raisins. I couldn't eat it! It looked like a giant slimy slug sitting on a plate. I just couldn't!
Warmed up tinned salmon with milk. Looked like a soup and covered the plate smelling terrible. Strange thing is I like tinned salmon but not prepared like that. Since I didn't know what had been planned, I simply said I was allergic to seafood and received another plate and I had boiled potatoes, green beans and cole slaw. All was not lost.
I never eat anything I don't like or don't want.
Having said that, I looked at the previous answers and must say I like escargot, liver, and deli tongue.
umm...raw oysters are disgusting. steamed/cooked ones are good but raw ones! no way!!! maybe its a texture thing! also, tripas (small intestines of farm animals like pigs or cows) are gross...i have an aunt who deep fried them one time put them in a tortilla with cheese and guacamole and served it to me...it looked really yummy but just knowing what it was made me sick! i have relatives that also snack on pickled pigs feet! so nasty!
I am omniverous, and have seldom found a food I do not like. raw oysters taste great, but the physical sensation is similar to having a bad cold---swallow one end and it all manages to slide down...
That said, in the Phillipine Islands some years ago I was served a delicacy called "baloot" which is a duck egg that is buried for several months, then sold and eaten when partly developed---and it does not smell very good. I just did not have the balls to try it.
