What is the difference between ground pork and pork sausage?!

Question: Ground pork is the ground meat of the pig. Pork sausage is made with the recipe of the sausage maker as to the spices used and whether or not it will be in links, slices, or smoked, or dried. It can be ground up or sliced in pieces such as Kielbasa, Salami, Bratwurst or simply frying such as a breakfast sausage or in larger packages for making patties or stews with.

  • Ground pork is just that and pork sausage would have seasoning in it.

Pork sausage has spices added, like sage. Ground pork is just ground up pork.
