What would a fox eat?!
Answers: Your answer will settle a bet I'm having with my 12yo son who wanted me to post this... I have a red fox that lives behind my cottage. In order to keep him and his raccoon partners from raiding my trash can I separate food trash, put it on a paper plate, and set it in the woods. Tonight I mixed corned beef hash, old beef stew, pasta, kraft macaroni and cheese and six outdated eggs (unbroken) and set it out. Will anything be left there in the morning? If so what? I have a prediction but my son thinks his old man is losing it. I will post the answer and who won the bet after the "folks" out back have dined.
Our foxes in the U K eat almost anything iv seen them eat burgers fish and chips chinese take away etc they are not afraid of humans any more they walk down the roads in our towns stealing from our litter bins in the middle of the night , so i don't think anything will be left in the morning

Anything it can possibly get/catch! :) I bet there is nothing left!
there will be nothing left. except a paper plate and some shell fragments.
a fox actually eats 12 yr old boys... haha only kidding but the are pretty much scaveger that feast on rodents
It would eat practically what it can find :)
it may eat what you set outside too, and not raid your trash because it wants the food not the other garbage.
A fox would be classified as a carnivore so red meat/meat obviously
