What do you put in YOUR pasta sauce?!

Olive oil, tinned roma tomatoes in winter and fresh ones in summer, 1/2 lb medium ground beef, port & veal, chopped onions and seasonings; sugar, marjoram, thyme, rosemary, savory, sage, organo and sweet basil (I grow as much as I can in the summertime and dry the herbs).

I can't put mushrooms in my sauce or one of my sons wouldn't eat it. I serve mushroom as a side dish.

Well, I put in according to a secret recipe, which I can only tell you some of the ingredients. Oregano, basil, onion flakes, etc. And to make it taste even better cook your meatballs in the sauce and cook it on the stove for at least 3 hours.
