Tesco, Asda or Morrisons?!
All claim to be the best, which is?
Tesco is the biggest of the 3, with 24 hr opening & by the most choice as its a Tesco-Exra , not sure which is best value though.
wot do u think?
Answers: All 3 are near me, within 5 miles.

Hiya Paul! I personally like Morrisons, as they seem to have some good 2 for 1 offers most of the time, and I love their fresh fish counter. They also have a butcher in store who can advise you on cuts of meat, and I just like the way the store is laid out (for example the pie shop, the fresh chicken counter, the butchers and the fish counter) - its like having little shops all under one roof :o) I think their prices are very fair too, and the quality of their food is really great, along with having a great choice of produce too! xx Its all a matter of personal preference, but I would suggest you check out all 3 stores and see which you feel is the best for you! Hope this helps xx
Tesco's Defo :D
But Asda Comes Pretty Close x
I shop at Morrisons, i always pay more for less when i go to tesco's and asda's always mobbed !
Go to each on different weeks buy the same and see what the best deal is.
I was in Morrison's yesterday and they did seem to have some good bargains. I shop in Tescos its the closest.
asda id tryed but not liked and tesco i did go there last week as i do find their freshness is good on their f/v,meat,i say tesco
I find that when it comes down to it, Morrisons is cheaper! I was surprised that Tescos wasn't, but Morrisons' offers are much better :)
tesco
tescos by far
support your nearest local businesses instead!
but yeah if you REALLY want to support the monopolies - go to each a different week and see which you like best
We have two tesco stores by us, why i don't know,
I used to use this shop for convenience really, but now i go that bit further to use Morrison's i think its much better value and more choice. :)
*?Midnight~Angel?*
Tesco I notice the difference is not just the prices, just hope that in the future, some new broom at Tesco doesn't forget the formula that made Tesco great like M&S did!
You need to check them out for yourself as it all depends what you buy.
I use them all.
Mainly Asda.
Tescos do have some things I just can't find elsewhere.
Morrisons....I do a 40 mile round trip to every two or three weeks, that's how much I like it!
tescos as they home deliver.
i hate shopping.
crowds, screaming kids & manic grannies in supermarket go-carts, is not my idea of fun.
pay someone else do the shopping, ( let them know what to buy as a substitute if what you want isn't available ) deliver it to my door, without carrier-bags & carry it all to my kitchen.
what more could you want?
when asda or morrisons home deliver, i'll alternate between them all.
swings and roundabouts....
We have a Tesco and an Asda near our home and go to Asda most often. We prefer things like Asda's own juice, they have a fresh Pizza section and have their own Indian & Chinese meal counter which we like - if you both want a different take-away it's great.
I find them both comparible, Asda seems to be a bit cheaper but if you go to Tesco you get clubcard points. They also had the offer when you spend over £50 you get 5p of each litre of fuel you buy - not sure if that one is still going after the price hike??
I have also just started a new job and there is a Morrisons nearby. I don't think that is any cheaper (i have heard their meat & fish are good quality but we get ours from the market so i can't comment on that), although they do have all-season concentrated screenwash for your car on offer - half price at around £1.25.
One place that is definitely over-priced is Sainsbury's, i think everyone would agree with that.
In answer to your question, it depends what you like to eat & drink. It won't be long till you find a favourite.
morrisons if you shop for there 2 4 1 plus they also do 2 of the same at a reduced price. but for quaility tesco at a price.
Tesco, then Asda then Morrisons
tesco's,
Ive worked at all three, and without a doubt, the best value and quality is at Morrisons. Also, their hygiene is second to none. They dont cut corners as much as Tesco and Asda when it comes to following legislation. They operate in a very professional but friendly manner.
I shop at them all for different reasons , But i shop at Morrison's most because they always have very good offers on everyday things , Morrison's is the only supermarket where i save Christmas saving stamps though
asda
morrisons are better value depends what brands u like tesco value or finest range?
None. I go out of my town to shop at Sainsbury's.
However I like local bakers butcher's & veg shops best.
Also the farmer's markets.......worth the extra pennies...xxx
