Answers: i got a juicer for Christmas, everything i has made so far has tasted rotten , can you give me some good recipes/tips for juicing. i dont expect it to taste like snapple fruit punch but just less like the inside of a compost heap.

3 or 4 carrots
1 apple
1 small piece of ginger
another variation of above would be to add 1/2 of a small beet and some parsley
Also don't ever drink the juice of 5 pears, you will be running for the bathroom in 5 minutes
THE recipes i have tried straight from professionals that make the juices , they mix the vegetables with the fruits to help the vegetables to taste more palatable. Use a few apples in a spinach and other kind of veggies drink... Celery, apples, spinach, and maybe an orange are good. Experiment, and if you still do not get what you want, I suggest going to www.hsn.com and look up Jack La lane's juice recipes. Also you can goggle or go to www.amazon.com, or eBay, look under the juice man recipes and he has two really fantastic juice recipe books. And the great thing about them , they can be bought in the used book part, for much less, an many many times have I gotten books that really looked the same as brand new. GB and GL and enjoy you have made a very wise choice to go natural and use the juicer to do it. yummy yummy, just don't give up, the juice will be rewarding :0)
