Why do i feel starving hungry when I have already eaten?!


Question: in 2006-2007 I was seriously ill, and my wieght plummeted to 6st, now i am 7:11 age 16 and hieght 5:6 1/2 and Somtimes i cannot eat and feel full even if I havent eaten all day, and somtimes (like right now) I feel hungry like I havent eaten all day even thought I have had wholmeal toast and rice cakes, which i know are ment to keep you going for ages.....WHY AM I SO HUNGRY?

Protein does more to curb your appetite. Toast and rice cakes are mostly starch, which converts to sugar. Whole grain is better than refined but is still mostly starch.

There is an article on Yahoo! today, in fact, that says carbohydrates cause the hormone that creates the sensation of hunger to be suppressed at first, then to rebound to higher levels. Fats did almost nothing to suppress the hormone. Proteins were the most effective.

i think u have some kind of worm that they leave inside the human Buddy... (i had the same problem)

check your sugar????? and try to eat carrots and cucumber if u still feel hungry

Sounds like you need more protein in your diet.

maybe you should check to a proper balance of vitamins , minerals and all essentials proper for your age. your body is obviously craving something and even after a meal, if you didn't eat what your body needs, you will feel hunger. there are many aspects, maybe check with your physician to make sure, there is not any hidden reason for all of it. good luck.

It could be that you are just craving the flavor instead of actual food. But if you are craving the actual food, then maybe you need to eat different sources of fiber, like cereal. I really hope I helped!

That happens to all of us from time to time I believe. Even after a 3 course meal of all great food you find you are simply not satisfied and want something else. I still find that an hour after I have eaten I start wondering what can I have to eat. Shouldn't be hungry but I am. That's when I reach for a piece of fruit, or candy or even a Dorito... but I'm still not satisfied.
