Are olive garden left overs good after 1 week?!


Question: i came home for the weekend to visit my fam and im home alone at the moment hungry with no $ and they have this chicken pasty left overs from olive garden they bought exactly 1 week ago. its been refigerated all week so i was wondering will i get sick from eating it? like is it too old or is it still good to eat? it smells good...lol

Seeing that it was kept in the fridge, no food poisoning bacteria would be able to multiple. If it doesn't smell it's not got food spoilage bacteria ( you can smell food spoilage but you can't smell food poisoning). I would eat it.

No, no leftovers are good after a week..................................

as long as you didn't leave it sitting out for an extended time the day you got it and if it was wrapped well and smells okay i would eat it. just be sure to heat it all the way through either in a skillet or the microwave. if you heat it and smell anything sour just toss it, but i have used leftovers for a week and a half and they were still good.
