Color of Cooked wild king Salmon?!

Question: What color does baked wild king salmon turn when it is cooked?

Answers: What color does baked wild king salmon turn when it is cooked?

A pastel pinkish orange. When it is fully cooked it should also fall apart into thick flakes.

pink

Should be dark red. Farmed salmon is usually pink, wild is darker in colour.

if it's broiled it will turn a light pink with Grey around the edges, which is the fat cooking off. if you buy center cut filet's you wont have that fatty tail attached.

The colour can range from an 'almost' whiteish to a deep red. It really depends on where the salmon live and more than that what they eat!

Fish that live in an estury, for example, can be darker than wild salmon from a river. An example being the former live on small crustacea!
