what punkinlo said and also there are no artificial flavors and colors or preservatives

It must be certified organic by the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture). It will be free of chemicals, pesticides, hormones and other injections or artificial additives.

If it is grown without chemicals like pesticides and is not genetically modified then it is organic.

Also, the production and storing processes involved have a bearing on "how organic" the food is. Under the USDA regulations for organics, organic food has to be stored, transported, etc, in separation from non-organic foods to prevent accidental mixing of non-organic ingredients or product into something meant to be 100% organic.

Grown with the use of insecticides, chemicals, or growth hormones.
