Why do hotdogs come in package of ten but buns come in a package of eight?!
Answers: never figured it out
because the a-holes want you to buy MORE! (if you think about it, it's genius) when you get the hotdogs and put them in your cart, walk over to the bread section, and find buns, and you see them in a package of eight- what do you do? YOU PICK UP ANOTHER PACKAGE! you wind up buying 2 bun packages! at least that's what i have to do... it sucks.
Because not everyone likes a bun with their hotdog.
And when you typed this question the search came out what?
Its all about the money. They want you to buy 2 packages of buns just for the two you need. Tna fish salad goes good on the extra buns!
Probably because of people like me. I always burn one and then drop one when I BBQ them.
It's 8 and 8 here where I live. Where do YOU live, some azz-backward redneckville?
I would figure it was a great marketing idea coming from Wonder Bread. All that had done is to make the the number of packages you need to double and sense the cost of bread is considerably less than even the least expensive of hotdogs it's help the overall profit of both items.
Because the bun makers can't count or maybe it's the hotdog makers that can't count.
Everytime I buy a pack of Ocar Mayer hot dogs, they only have 8 in the pack. . .
Its a marketing ploy to get you to buy more buns.
Or buy 4 packages of hot dogs and 5 bags hotdog buns = 40
I don't no. Have you got to much time on your hands.
