Can I freeze garlic cloves that have started to sprout?!

Question: Hi, I bought a string of garlic bulbs this fall and a few of them have started to sprout. Will they keep if I clean them and freeze the cloves? Thanks in advance!

Yes. The best thing to do for the ones that have sprouted is to push them into some soil and grow some garlic, or to remove the sprouted part (it makes your food a bit bitter) and then dice or mince and freeze or use.

yes...I even use the sprouds for cooking.

the sprout will make your garlic bitter, remove then roast or poach then freeze
