How to determine the expiry date of canned goods when the product itself doesnt even post an expiry date?!

Question: If the can is dented or it is bulging,you will know that it is past it's expiration date. It really irritates me when certain companies refuse to put expiration dates on their canned goods,those are the companies that I stay away from,because who knows how long those cans have been out on the store shelves! ;-)

Since I pay no attention to expiry dates anyway, I really can't help you if the manufacturer didn't put a date on it.
